1. Boom Truck
Our fleet of trucks now includes one Boom, useful for delivery to second story locations and other places difficult for moffett trucks to access. Please specify in advance if you will require the use of the Boom.

2. Moffett Trucks
Placement of materials around foundation perimeter, delivery of material to locations that the truck is unable to access, i.e. backyards, warehouse interiors. Quick pick up of material returned for credit.

3. Six-day delivery
Deliveries are scheduled for every day, Monday through Saturday. First run deliveries typically leave the yard at or before 7 AM, and second runs leave at around 10 AM. (Please call in advance--the schedule fills up quickly)

5. Free delivery over $500
Delivery over $500 is free to any site within Eastern Massachusetts. There is a small charge on deliveries under $500.

6. Pneumatic Tool repair
Drop off your Bostitch, Hitachi, Paslode or Senco gun, and Barker Lumber will have it repaired for you. An outside service will typically have your gun ready for you within a week. Just another way Barker saves you time.

7. Nextel phones
Many of our contractors have Nextel phones. Our drivers, yard foreman, dispatcher and outside salesmen are all connected to one another and our Nextel customers via the contractor network. This enables our customers to have instant access to our personnel.

8. CAI-Customer Access Interface
Selected customers can log directly onto our computer via a telephone line and get information regarding their pricing, open orders and AR balance.

9. LVL and I Joist Design
Georgia Pacific Fast Beam software enables us to design LVL and I joists for builders, architects. Many cities and towns require the engineering calculations for a building permit.

10. Custom Milling
Cut panels to size, custom sizing of softwoods and hardwoods. Duplication of moldings and paneling, balusters in any species of hardwood, softwood or Azek.

11. Customer statement separated by project
We'll separate the bills, so you don't have to.

12. Saw sharpening
Customers drop off saws and blades for resharpening. An outside service picks up once per week. Just to save you an extra stop.

13. Lock Keying
Keying and rekeying of Schlage locksets.

14. Blueprint Takeoff and Estimating
We'll take a look at your blueprints and give you a rough estimate of pricing and materials.

15. Barker Showroom
You no longer need to rely on pictures in catalogs to decide on doors and windows! Come down to the Barker showroom, and choose the product you want from our wide selection of samples.
